I found this to be an interesting script in the fact that it touts some pretty strong features (like clones) but at the same time lacks in some of the most common elements that ought to be included in a script (for example it has no protection).

This script claims to include (and it does mostly)...

While the author has decided to keep his script small (which is a good and noble thing) I think he slipped up on a banana peel and hit his head when he went about cutting stuff out of the script. I've never seen any of his original work however I hope it was better than this.

Script Strengths - I think that a good strength for this script is the fact that it is small. A lot of good things come in small packages, and I guess the author has good intentions when it comes to this one. Another strength would have to be the organization of his script. There's not really a lot to organize but what he has, he organized well. (Can you tell I'm searching for nice things to say?)

Script Weaknesses - Well, where do we begin? To be fair (and because wild_d keeps hammering me for being too mean (honest) in my reviews) I'll try to stay focused. This script really doesn't offer enough features to make it any better than the plain old version of mIRC that you can download from www.mirc.com. There are a few features but nothing more than glorified ones that you normally get.

Suggestions for improvement -

If you're so worried about space, then how about limit some of the sounds that you include and save the room for options. Something else I didn't understand - mIRC comes with the ability to change the backgrounds now. So what's up with the theme thingie? Oh yeah least I forget the most important one - ADD PROTECTION

If you want a script that has tons of usable features all located easily in your menubar popup, then don't bother downloading this script. There are three options here and ALL of them only talk about this script. You have the option of viewing credits, looking at version changes, or if you really feel up to some excitement how about seeing "what's new"!!! (I think I almost peed my pants out of excitement myself)

Included here are the bulk of the options that you can choose from. Namely you have a simple channel scan and stats. You can ctcp the channel or if you feel up to it handle some mass op or deop.

The away system is simple as I stated before.

There are some options for running clones, but the user controls aren't that simple. You have to know such things as firewall and server (must be IP). Not very well executed in the least.

Oh yeah in case you missed the excitement - you can always look over those credits, versions, or what's new if you want to!

What nicklist wouldn't be complete without the ability to view the credits, versions, an what's new FOR A THIRD TIME??? So of course that has been added here.

You have some basic controls here, nothing special. Again - unless I was crazy or just wanted some laughs I really wouldn't advise downloading this program.

Simple, but nicely organized. :)
